ENTRY TO CANADA RESTRICTIONS

UPDATE: JUNE 18/21

There is an extension to the US-Canada border closure to at least JULY 21 2021.

Quarantine and COVID-19 testing requirements are currently in effect for ALL non-essential travellers entering Canada. 

Given that there has been no plan announced yet regarding easing of restrictions for the US/Canada border, we have had to cancel international bookings up to and including July 30/21.

International bookings in place from that date will be held until July 10/21. Thank you for your patience as we wait for further developments.

Before entry at any crossing point of the LAND border with the US, non-essential travellers will have to show a negative result of a COVID test taken within 72 hours before crossing. The Canadian government strongly advises against non-essential travel. Returning AIR travellers will have to take a COVID test on arrival and quarantine for 3 days in a designated hotel at their own expense to await results. A negative result will allow them to continue mandatory quarantine at home; a positive result will require them to continue quarantine in a designated government facility. 

Updated Jan 5/21: Effective January 7, 2021, all air passengers five years of age or older are required to test negative for COVID-19 before travelling from another country to Canada.

Updated June 7/21: Step 1 of the Ontario re-opening in effect as of June 11/21, with restrictions in place as outlined in the plan.  

Step 1 focuses on resuming outdoor activities, with limited numbers, where the risk of transmission is lower, and permitting limited retail with restrictions. 

The province has a 3 stage re-opening plan, affecting various sectors over the next few months, 

dependant on vaccination percentages and public health indicators in the provincial population.
