Love this place

Wow, we just came back from a week spent here and absolutely loved it! We cannot say enough about the accommodating nature of Darren and his attention to detail to make sure the property is at its finest. A good judge of that is when you see him spending time every day from early morning until later evening doing tasks to keep everything well groomed and manicured, not to mention the workers we saw regularly working outside with various tasks to keep things looking good. From helping us get our US currency exchanged to making sure we had the proper skillet we needed to accommodate our family, Darren was willing to go the extra mile, which we appreciated. The cottages were clean and well-stocked with the appropriate cookware and utensils, as well as gas grill. The TV was great to watch the Olympics as we could, as well as access to the DVD player and internet. We did not have time to borrow any DVD's, but we were also very impressed with the long list of titles to choose from, sure to please everyone in your family. The beach was immaculate and the pier with several lounge chairs was very nice, both offering plenty of room for everyone on the premises to enjoy. Every cottage was rented during our stay and I must say, I never felt like things were too crowded or that the canoes, kayaks, etc were unavailable. We also really enjoyed the cookout, what a nice spread and good way to meet others. We did not get to the beach bonfire with live music, but heard it was very nice as well. The boats were just as stated and we used them daily, enjoying the lake to its fullest. Need I say more?! This is the place to relax and have fun - you won't be disappointed.

Room Tip: The cottages are all good, depending on the number in your party, serving couples or families.
