We have however been updating the home page with current updates on a regular basis in regard to travel restrictions, ‘stay-at-home’ orders, as well as border closure updates. Thanks to everyone who has been following these updates.
Here we are in the heart of the season, and so thrilled to be back open again, and enjoying so many familiar & new faces. The weather has been a great mix of hot, cool, and rain when needed. The lake levels are slightly low for this time of year, however enough to make for great boating & fishing.
We’ve been keeping busy with continued upgrades through the spring, and aesthetic improvements over the summer season. The water trampoline (with slide) arrived earlier in the spring and has been a total hit. What great fun everyone is having! We also added two new gazebos at the beach & dock, both with lovely seating areas & propane fire bowls to enjoy.
The Sunset Deck was extended in the late fall as you would have seen from our last News update, and have added lighting and another propane fire bowl. We now have power in numerous locations throughout the docking system for everything from charging your trolling motor, to utilizing a small speaker for music for example, or charging one of your devices while sitting out on the water.
We have unfortunately just passed our July 10 cut off date where we have had to cancel all international bookings through to August 28/21. We have saved all dates for this time period for 2022. If anyone would like a refund on the deposit, we are more than happy to do so (without penalty). By keeping your deposit with us, this secures your dates for next year. Should there be no firm announcement by both countries by August 10, we will then cancel all bookings through to September 30/21. Thank you to all of you for sticking it out with us, as we know how badly you want to get back to our great country.
Although the summer season is fully booked, the fall season still has some great options! We revert back to our 3-night minimum at that point, so if you cannot commit to a full week, you have lots of options and can customize the dates to best suit your schedule.
