Looking forward to Spring

Hi Everyone,

With the ice fishing season behind us, and the spring season quickly approaching, we thought we would share some news from The Beam!

It’s been a bit of a later winter, especially in comparison to the past couple of years.  We still have solid ice across the bay, (and right through the big lake for that matter) as of today, (April 12th). The forecast is looking nice and sunny, and relatively warm going forward, but we still have a few weeks yet before ice really starts to break up. We haven’t quite started the outside ‘grind’ as the ground is still frozen, and some pretty large snow piles, where we plow our snow, need to melt themselves away - but we are close! Things will be rockin’ & rollin’ right after the Easter Weekend, and we hope for some water in the bay to get the boats serviced and floating again for another season.

The deposit deadline for anyone who rebooked at the conclusion of their stay in 2024 for the upcoming 2025 season has come and gone.  Thanks to everyone who has made their payment, and secured their reservation for another memorable year here at Sunbeam.

There are always a few changes once the deadline passes at the end of March which created a few 1-bedroom options in the peak summer months of July & August, as well as a few prime weekend spring & fall dates.  You can view these options on our availability calendar on our website, or call us direct anytime.

Besides the usual (very involved) season start up, we also plan to get all of the flooring done in cottage #3, the new windows installed at the front office, (as mentioned in the previous News update) to go along with some dock repair, maintenance, and upgrades.

We are really looking forward to another great season here, and welcoming all of you back, and of course, welcoming all of our new guests.
